The Palms wedding venue

Step into a realm of serenity at Bali Garden. Located within a private 5 hectare property in Point Wells, five minutes-drive from the Matakana village and just 50 minutes north of Auckland.

The Palms at Bali Garden is a purposefully designed private, outdoor wedding venue set within beautiful Bali-inspired gardens, which instantly transport you and your guests to the lush tropics.

The plethora of palm trees, hand-carved statues from Bali and rows of white hydrangeas provide the most stunning backdrop for your ceremony and wedding photography. Walk down the aisle between the expanse of palm trees before greeting your guests in the garden, where you will be married in front of a beautiful hand-crafted Balinese Bale.

Bespoke wedding packages

Bespoke wedding packages are available between December to April and are inclusive of two nights luxury accommodation on site at The Villa, which is a short walk from The Palms wedding venue.

The Palms can hold 100 guests maximum, and includes furniture set-up and removal, ice bath for beverages (dry hire), PA system and microphone, two toilets and parking.

The Villa accommodation

The Villa accommodation is nestled within its own private and peaceful garden, complete with a master bedroom, full kitchen, two bathrooms, outdoor pagoda and deck. This space is perfect for bridal or groom party preparations, as well as elopements and more intimate wedding ceremonies for up to 30 guests.

  • We wanted a venue that catered for a small, intimate wedding. We popped into Bali Garden one day just to have a look at the greenery when Sophie mentioned the wedding hire options. We fell in love with the renovated stables straight away and knew that it would be perfect for our wedding of 30 people. Sophie was so helpful with preparation and making sure that we had everything we needed, including vendor recommendations and all the little touches. It made the day very relaxing being able to stay the night before, get ready there in the morning and then having the ceremony and photos all in one place. Although it rained on our wedding day the garden looks even more amazing in our photos. We treasure the lovely memories of that day and will definitely be back to spend some down time at Bali Garden soon.
