bodhi studio

Bodhi Studio is a sanctuary for healing, connection, and hope.

Created by Bali Garden founder Robyn Alexander, its heart and purpose is to offer a supportive space for men’s wellness.

Whether you come for conversation, breathwork, yoga, or simply to sit in stillness — this is a place where you’re welcome just as you are.

With weekly classes, plus workshops and retreats, Bodhi is here to nurture wellbeing and community.

Our Space

At Bodhi, we believe in breaking the silence around mental health and nurturing community-led healing that is accessible, inclusive, and genuine.

This space will host koha- or free-of-charge events, created to support those navigating the challenges of mental health — especially men and those living with the grief of suicide loss.

We also offer a range of options for groups within the men’s wellness space, and warmly welcome enquiries.

Meet our teachers

At Bali Garden, we’re proud to offer a diverse range of experienced, professional, and compassionate teachers from all walks of life.

Within our community, we’re especially grateful for our incredible male teachers, who bring their own unique skills and perspectives to the space.

Each teacher is deeply dedicated to supporting others on their journey, creating mindful, strengthening, and holistic practices in a safe and welcoming environment.

Our classes are open to all ages and fitness levels — everyone is welcome.

  • Jonno Roberts - Breathwork

Jonno Roberts is a teacher, actor, and coach with over 30 years in theatre, film, and television. He earned his Master’s degree at Harvard University’s Institute for Advanced Theatre Training, focusing on emotional intelligence and imagination in performance. Jonno has taught across the U.S., served as a senior instructor at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles, and coached actors and business leaders through his private studio.

As a performer, he has worked from Moscow to Washington, D.C., including starring on Broadway in two Tony Award–winning dramas. He is also the founder of The Empathy Gym, based on the belief that no one suffers alone and no one heals alone. His work now helps people slow down, listen, connect, and build resilience in their work, homes, and communities.

  • Brett Crockett - Meditation

Brett Crockett has been devoted to meditation since 1988, when he first learned Transcendental Meditation in Auckland. Over the years, this transformative practice became a steady anchor through life’s most challenging moments. In 2013, Brett completed his first Vipassana Meditation course and has since committed to exploring meditation more deeply through frequent and intensive retreats.

He describes meditation as a personal key to the universe - accessible, practical, and profoundly enriching - and looks forward to guiding others in discovering their own pathways of awareness and consciousness.

  • Richie Lovelock - Yoga

Richie Lovelock discovered yoga more than 15 years ago after fracturing his back at the gym. His journey has seen many “updogs and down dogs,” with periods when his practice was little more than Savasana. Through the years yoga has remained his foundation - a practice that has supported him through life’s toughest challenges, and one that has helped him to heal his body.

He is passionate about sharing the body and mind benefits of yoga so that it can help others like it helped him. Richie runs a website business and is a proud father to daughter Bette. When not in an asana, he likes to spend his spare time in nature or playing guitar and loves nothing more than to share these things with Bette.

  • "What I value most about Bodhi is having somewhere to step away from the busyness of work and life, while also having good conversations with other men who each bring their own perspective."
